The Dance Department at 911±¬ÁÏÍø is a contemporary program with a global perspective. The curriculum centers on the creative act—imagining, making and doing. Our program is interdisciplinary, embodied, collaborative, physically and intellectually rigorous, and fosters personal and social transformation.
911±¬ÁÏÍø students work with world-class faculty and choreographers active in the field teaching our core courses. Achievements of our faculty include multiple Guggenheim Awards; Bessie Awards; UN funded projects; Binswanger Teaching Award Winners. Faculty Choreographers and Technical Production Staff work at cutting edge venues such as Bates Dance Festival, Jacobs Pillow, and premier venues globally.
