Name Information
Some members of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø community are known by a preferred name that is different from their legal name. Students, faculty and staff who wish to be identified by a name other than their legal one, can enter that name in the Personal Information section of their e-portfolio. This name will appear in most University systems. While anyone is welcome to use a preferred name, this option has been developed to respond to the needs of some international students, transgender people, and others who prefer to use another name.

Stonewall Speakers, a Connecticut Stonewall Foundation, inc. is a speaker's bureau comprised of same gender loving, bisexual, transgender people and their allies, who give their hearts, time, and travel expenses to help eliminate hate. Speaking engagements generally include two or more panelists and combine personal life stories with a question and answer session. They speak to thousands of youth and adults annually.
